Bespoke Product Design - Our Process

1. Design – From client brief and specification Reader Air can produce designs with CAD services or follow a clients existing drawing to manage the design process and confirm requirements.

2. Prototype – Prototypes can be manufactured and assembled within relative short time frames.

4. Field Test & Integration – Post bench testing the product can be tested in the field and and integrated into the real working environment.

3. Bench Test – All prototypes undergo in-house testing to prove defined parameters presented in the design stage.

5. Manufacture – Manufactured to quality standards with flexibility for low volume production runs

6. Supply – Packaged and delivered to clients site

Case Study 1

Process Chiller Project – Reader Air were approached to design and manufacture a process liquid chiller for a packaging specialist in the food industry that supplies a sealing solution to food suppliers worldwide. The sealing solution uses high temperature welding equipment which required a cooling solution with unique characteristics which also had to comply with food industry standards. A compact, high performance process chiller was designed to meet this brief and continues to be successfully supplied in short production runs to the client.

Case Study 2

Project Condenser Assembly – Reader Air were approached to manufacture and assemble a bespoke aluminium condenser assembly to the clients specification. Precision engineering and aluminium welding techniques were used to produce the assembly for a client in the defense industry.
